I remember the first time I saw O.B...it must have been in Levine Hall, Fall 1996...or was it '97?...no matter.

I walked into the Levine mostly because I was supposed to meet Adam after Sporking...or was it Puddleglumming then? The verbs are inconsequential as I was awe-struck (or should I at least say amused) by Adam's competent drumming and Blair's tickling of the ivories....but then there was Nate's solo and Mark's bassing being aided by no other than O.B.

That was a good day indeed.

Thank you for those kind comments, Dave.

Although, I'm not sure we can believe a word you say. No one was ever supposed to meet Adam after Sporking.

However, your competent use of the word "awe-struck" to describe your Spork experience makes me think you might just be on the level.

So, here's to OB. He'll never truly be gone, as long as he is in our hearts. And the bottom of Nate's cord bag.
