Stimey speaks!

Spork bassist Mark "Stimey" Newman faced reporters for the first time this morning after receiving his new nickname.
"The thing that strikes me most about the name is that it's homophonous with the word 'stymie,' which is rather appropriate given the obvious ways our so-called band has stymied what would have been my brilliant career as a bassist and international playboy," Newman said.
Asked if this meant he was thinking of leaving the band, Stimey was quick to back-track. "The up-side, of course, is that I've seen more movies this way and sampled a wider assortment of pizzas."
Newman also reached out to the fan who made it all happen: "Props to my homegirl Foxy."
Questions now abound regarding Stimey's relationship to Miss Vandenburg. What exactly is a "home girl?" And what are these "props" she appears to be getting? Inquiring minds want to know.
